YTHK

Y3K: What the
telecommunications providers can’t deliver
Companies find it hard to believe that the
internet service that is running their business are the same ones children use
to do homework and exchange pictures.
Y3K Secure Enterprise Software Inc., (OTC/BB:
YTHK – news), a Northwest-based secure enterprise software systems and solutions
provider, has began to set the standard for complete end-to-end secure
communications. By bundling Y3K’s software products with Fox’s
telecommunications and ISP products and the xSides parallel platform, they are
positioned to be the first complete end-to-end solution for secure
communications for any size of business
Under the terms of the agreement, the two
companies will immediately pursue the advancement of marketing initiatives and
efforts that will be required for joint operations. The agreement, which has a
50/50 revenue split provision as well as provisions for merger negotiations,
gives Y3K and Fox the opportunity to introduce a new generation of
telecommunications products and services that will set a new standard in the
software and telecommunications industry.
The biggest problem with
web-based communications is that they are not secure: no privacy, no security
and no rights to even demand or expect privacy since the system belongs to the
big public portals. Instant messaging, email and document delivery can all be
intercepted and read, both in transit and when stored.
"There is a whole chain of people involved in
your electronic message getting through. Nobody takes responsibility for lost
messages. You enter at your own risk. So when you sign up with a provider, talk
to them about taking responsibility. Force the issue, and count on getting some
interesting answers." Says Dr. Ravi Kalakota, author of three books on
electronic commerce and also lectures at the University of Rochester.
The partnership will offer the only complete
end-to-end Secure Communication System and it will be integrated into one
system, and include all of the following plus plans for future additions. A
web-based communication system with instant messaging, email, document/data file
transfer and on-line presence/status detection and collaboration, with automatic
encryption and automatic archiving, web-based IP Telephony: high quality
(business/carrier class) long distance telephone service, regular telephone long
distance service and local dialing, sophisticated, next generation, PBX
capabilities such as message/call routing, call screening, VIP/urgent
notification, find me – follow me services, and many additional functions. All
communications will be initiated and managed by an easy to use control panel
that “pops up” on the desktop, laptop, PDA or cell phone. The system will
provide a base level of network and communications security, with secure
automatic backup of all text, voice and data. Additional levels of increased
security and privacy can be configured to further protect the transmission,
storage and retrieval of text, data and voice communications.
The bundling of products is slated to begin
immediately, and the companies will dedicate the majority of their individual
resources toward the Joint Operations with plans to begin initial national
marketing in a few weeks. Immediate plans to share employee’s to launch the
joint initiatives will address issues such as Daily Operations, Marketing,
Sales, Distribution Channels, PR, IR, additional acquisitions and mutual
interests in exploring a merger of the companies.
Additionally, Y3K has signed an agreement with
xSides, the developer of a secure platform that allows companies to control
content displayed on the PC desktop.. xSides patented technology manages data
delivered to and displayed on a computer and can even create an alternate start
menu or a completely new secure space residing directly on the desktop.
The industry leading patented technologies of
xSides creates trusted environments on end-user digital devices to proactively
protect high value content from malicious code and misuse with their newly
developed Digital Rights Management Platform (DRMP), an enterprise desktop
security product. DRMP combines xSides driver-level security with an XML
interface to bring secure applications and data to the desktops of enterprise
PCs. DRMP takes high value content and places it in a secure ‘vault’ inside the
end-user’s machine, and the user still has easy, uncomplicated access to this
data.
The xSides product is called a Parallel Platform
because it operates in parallel to the OS running on the machine on which xSides
technology is installed. Because xSides resides outside of the OS, xSides
remains immune to the vulnerabilities of OSes and browsers and securely delivers
applications and content to enterprise and home environments.
The agreement gives Y3K the opportunity to
introduce and populate the space with their software applications that will
interoperate with the xSides technology. To allow Y3K to take full advantage of
the agreement for the long term, a significant number of people and technical
resources within the xSides staff will be employed by Y3K to provide its
expertise and experience to the team implementing and integrating the products
of Y3K and Fox Communications into the secure desktop space. All of the
complete end-to-end communications platforms will be integrated and launched
from the PC desktop within the xSides space.
Currently Y3K is developing relationships with
substantial banking and financial institutions, law firms, medical industries,
CPA firms and government agencies , which all have a critical need for services
provided by Y3K. With increasing product awareness investors should keep an eye
out for Y3K as more businesses are switching to their services.
Founded in 1999, Y3K, Inc. initially started as a
provider of Secure Internet commerce software. Through its experience with both
businesses and consumers, Y3K has successfully made the transition to become a
leading provider of secure enterprise software. Y3K's main product is the
FusionPak Suite, which includes ICS (the most secure instant messaging (IM)
system on the market today), CommerceManager (a state-of-the-art Internet
commerce engine), Market Portal, a sophisticated business data management tool
and other enterprise business software applications.
xSides is the leading provider of patented
technologies that create trusted environments on end-user digital devices to
proactively protect high value content from malicious code and misuse. By
managing the display, processing, and storage of data, xSides adds a critical
layer to existing security infrastructures. Data and applications are protected
from the porous, and inherently non-secure architecture of the OS inside
xSides’s separate yet parallel, vault-like storage and execution environment.
Companies can build secure applications into the xSides space using the xSides
Platform Development Kit.. xSides is a privately held company. For more
